yuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Back

This page is gonna have a bunch of things I enjoy on it. I might add images if I'm not lazy but for now its probably just gonna be yapping :3

Things

Music is generally pretty nice, I like a wide variety, but I tend towards some punk, a bunch of types of jazz, more inspired/musical rap, yacht rock, breakbeat, speedcore, grungier bedroom pop, a bit of R&B/Soul, a bunch of indie stuff, a bunch of alternative sorta more inspired hip hop, and a good chunk of more experimental stuff

Modern technologies kinda goated if u ask me

I LOVE little computer chips and programming as a hobby uninfluenced by a desire for capital or any other significant personal material gain

Guestbooks and comment sections that you don't need to log in to use are a lot of fun

Food is pretty good mostly

Recreational sports are among the last good social platforms that don't cost much, and its a shame that the people who play sports are generally mediocre to be around in my experience unless casual, in which case theres a good chunk of nice people

Education is enjoyable and having more knowledge makes people nicer generally

Curiousity is the best thing ever and the urge to gain knowledge normally kinda leads to its own rewards which is nice.

Existence is fun

Sitting on a bench and just looking at something is really fun

Capitalism isn't really all that bad when proper regulations and antitrust policies are in place

Always going to extremes and avoiding mediocrity in most cases where your life is not on the line is fun to do and lets you experience a wider range of emotion

I love being happy and I love being sad, I love being frustrated and stumped, I don't like being angry at others much but thats just a personal preference

Games

Outer Wilds is the best game ever pls play it, Factorio is a lot of fun but I never get the motivation to go past yellow science :(, Astroneer is very fun to chill in, Minecraft is always solid, Rimworld is pretty fun, Terraria is fun, Tunic is a beautifully designed game, Disco Elysium is pretty and has a lot of interesting stuff, Hylics is pretty sick, Earthbound was really fun to play, Ultrakill is too much for me but its cool, Stardew Valley is really fun, Noita is cool, Animal Well is fun but I don't enjoy some of the late stage design decisions (not everything solvable by yourself), Antichamber is cool and has interesting commentary, Inscryption is fun and cool, Everhood is awesome, Oneshot is goated.

I'm not too too big on fps games but they're fun with friends, puzzle games are pretty neat but I don't play them all too much, horror games are scary (shockingly) but also sometimes have midish mechanics (fun with friends tho), I used to play league but its way too big of a time sink, and the rest of genres I enjoy u can kinda see by the above list lol.

Playing and making games is fun and awesome and cool. I like almost all varieties of games, but ones where information is not obfuscated but just obscure to anyone without a bit of knowledge that comes with practice are kinda lame. They remind me of puzzles, which I also like a lot, but specifically word puzzles/language puzzles which I don't like that much. There's no good way to figure things out, and sometimes you literally can't ever find a solution because you don't know a certain bit of outside information. Also a lot of the time, for example, there's multiple words that would work for a hint in a crossword, and you just have to wait and see which one is right based off others which kinda sucks. I enjoy puzzles/games which don't require much outside previous knowledge, and almost everything in the game can be solved with information given by the game. They're more inclusive, more fair, and easier to share across borders with people who don't have the same background as you. Playing a crossword always feels a bit lame towards the end for me cause I get stuck trying to guess the intersection of "thats boring"(5), "get outta here"(4), bibical brother of jacob(4), and after hours source of $$$(3), with answers hohum, scat, esau, and atm respectively. I mean the atm one is clever, but even assuming you got the ones surrounding the corner, you get "hoh__", "sc__", "es__", and "a__". Firstly who in their right mind says scat to mean get outta here, I haven't heard ho hum before today, and specific names are generally impossible to guess unless you know off the top of your head :(. This could in fact just be a skill issue 3;

I do not like the dating game at all this game sucks cheeks and is pretty bad in most cases :(. Mainly the first part sucks cause you have to infringe on someone elses life by asking them out before you can know if they are ok with that. Considering sex as an end goal, its rewarded to not have the other person catch feelings for you by you being a hoe which kinda stinks. Considering a long term relationship as an end goal, everyone just wants sex and has commitment issues. Thats obviously an exxageration but it seems too often that we run away from whats chasing us even if its something we would want normally. Gameplay is fun enough but its hard to find people with the same ruleset :(. And then of course some people lie too which is the silliest thing ever but the game rewards it in most cases where long term isn't the goal. WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH where is my twinnnnn
